I am Emily Henderson, Head Pastry Chef and Founder of SweetEms. Ten years ago I baked my first batch of cupcakes and was immediately obsessed with that perfect little package of cake and frosting. My passion grew rapidly as I began giving away cupcakes to all my loved ones. This cupcake obsession organically turned into a business as the recipients of these little cakes recommended they be enjoyed by the masses.

I later graduated with a degree in Pastry Arts in from Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. During my schooling, I was introduced to chocolatier work. That art quickly turned into another passion to add to my pastry repertoire.

Dessert is such a gift. It has the power to invoke incredible pleasure and joy. It can take our minds back in time and awaken our senses in new ways. I find so much fulfillment in using my skills to provide that pleasure for my customers. It is so special for me to be apart of their celebrations.

My pastries are my art and my love. It is an incredible honor to share them with you.
